You remember the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"
Hmmm... I'm realizing that we said that phrase to cover up the hurt that lays on our hearts. It's beyond true that words hurt me and even sometimes more than sticks & stones. As an adult we must learn to choose our words wisely. You never know if those very words will come to haunt you later in life.
It's so common for people to say "kill yo self" but what if that actually happened? What if the petty argument that you are having is the last thing you hear from that person. And all you thought to say was "kill yoself"....
Think about that because once the negative words roll off your tongue or you hit send on your cell phone or email...that's it.....Theres no turning back. Remember sticks & stones hurt but words hurt worse.
